Main Street America Earns Top Industry Honor for Annual Report

July 8, 2009 - The Main Street America Group's 2008 Annual Report, Vision in Action: Expanding Boundaries, was selected as "Best of Show" by the Insurance Marketing Communications Association (IMCA) at its annual conference in Seattle last week.

Main Street America captured the top honor in the "Annual Reports - Private Company" category against stiff competition that included national mutual carriers State Farm, Liberty Mutual and FM Global. Criteria for the award included content, design and market impact Judging for IMCA's annual Showcase Awards was done by an independent panel of national advertising and public relations agency executives.

In addition to the Annual Report, Main Street America's corporate communications department earned "Top 10" recognition by IMCA in three other categories:

  • Marketing Targeted to Agents/Producers - Masters Club marketing campaign.
  • Special Communications Campaign - 2008 Main Street America holiday cards.
  • Electronic Communications - Main Street America/Trusted Choice® co-branding PPT presentation to Big "I" board of directors.

IMCA is an international association of insurance communications professionals who specialize in marketing, marketing communications, advertising, sales promotion and public relations. Membership includes some of the largest multi-line insurance companies and brokerage firms in the country, as well as super regional, regional and specialty companies, advertising and public relations agencies, and prominent industry suppliers.
