In conjunction with the University of North Florida (UNF) College of Education and Human Services, The Main Street America Group has "adopted" Pine Estates Elementary School in Northwest Duval County, Fla.

Throughout the school year, several Main Street America volunteers (employees and family members) spend time helping students (grades K-5) at the Jacksonville public school with their reading, spelling and math, and assist with other class-related projects. Main Street America also conducts a school supplies drive to benefit all of the students and faculty at Pine Estates.

For the past four years, Pine Estates has been part of UNF’s Urban Professional Development Schools Partnership with Duval County Public Schools. In addition to an on-site clinical faculty member, UNF provides the school with several full-time interns and pre-interns.
